Because of the very rich waters, many of the Cape fur seals can be found around the False Bay, next to Cape Town in South Africa. To avoid their biggest enemy, the Great White Shark, they hide next to shore or in the Kelp forest, which can be used as a toy sometimes as well. The playful fur seals don't leave a divers mask dry as they have such a foolish and silly behaviour. They try to bite everything they can to check it out, namingly the fins, strobe arms and strobes. Everything what is exposed by your body. But nobody needs to be afraid of it because they do it very very gently. And if they recognized that you're watching them - they run of as quick as they came. Sometimes you get the feeling that these elegant and water-affine mammals make a fun out of the clumsy black and bubbling bodies in the water.
