Thistlegorm cabin

Thistlegorm cabin

The Thistlegorm was transporting supplies for the British troops in Northern Africa during WWII: among other things ammunition of all kind, weapons and vehicles in great numbers. On October 6th 1941 a German Heinkel-111 sank the ship which was anchored in a convoy in the south-eastern Gulf of Aden, killing 9 of the crew members.
